| Job Description: | TNS Field Limited provides the essential ‘face to face’ interviewing link between clients and consumers in the UK for TNS plc.
We are currently expanding our operation, and require additional interviewers throughout the UK – new or experienced – who would like to work at the ‘leading edge’ of consumer market research using the latest in computer multimedia technology. No selling is involved – you will be inviting people to give you their opinions about subjects central to their daily life.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
After a comprehensive four day training TNS Field Limited interviewers are able
to interview members of the General Public ‘face to face; using a multimedia computer
to conduct all surveys according to briefing instructions
to communicate/liaise fully with Regional Management teams on a daily basis or as required
to work according to the standards of the Market Research Society
to use and maintain a multimedia computer according to TNS Field Limited’s standard regulations
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Market Research Interviewers come from all walks of life, so it is impossible to describe one group of society as making perfect interviewer. Those individuals who become successful interviewers all do however have the following qualities:
they enjoy meeting people and are able to talk to them
they are confident and able to approach people in their home or in the street
they are able to motivate themselves in a situation where they are working alone, and form their own home.
Applicants must be able to work for TNS Field Limited on 3 or more days per week. These should be a mixture of weekday days and weekend days. Weekday work is carried out between 2pm and 8pm, and weekend work is usually carried out between 10am and 4pm.
Applicants will need to ensure that they are available to work at the weekend when required.
Every TNS Field Limited interviewer needs to have a landline telephone
All TNS Field Limited interviewers working outside Greater London must have their own transport.
REMUNERATION
TNS Field Limited pays competitive hourly rates. For a 5 day working week it is possible to earn around £260
Mileage is paid at 26p per mile
Holiday pay is also available and there is an attractive bonus scheme in operation.
There is a potential for ote of c£15,000 per annum if five full days worked each week.
